All BizCardReader and Passport scanners are fully TWAIN compliant. You can use the
scanner to scan business cards, color photos, driver licenses, medical
insurance cards, and laminated IDs into third party Twain image editing and
storage applications.
Hi-Speed USB 2.0 is the new USB standard adopted on most computers on the market today. It allows devices to scan and transfer data at several times the speed of older USB 1.0 or 1.1 devices. Hi-Speed USB 2.0 scanners will work on either USB 2.0 or USB 1.0 ports. However, when a USB 2.0 scanner is plugged into a USB 1.0 port, the scanner will only function at the lower speed allowed on USB 1.0 devices.
